How to send COMPLETE WORKS

SUMMARIES

In order to be able to participate like Author you must present a Comunicación or Poster, that will be an original scientific work. You may send it in Spanish or in English.
The participation in this congress is totally free.

If you wish to participate in the Congress, you should must make a Summary of your work and send it to the Organizing Committee of the Congress in the predicted dates. This Summary will be evaluated by a Scientific Committee. In you work is accepted, you will be able to send your complete work.

Original works in Spanish or English,  in relation to Pathology, Cytology and Molecular Biology applied to Pathology, not only in clinical field, but also experimental works, will be accepted . Those works related to the impact of the new technologies in the specialty will have special consideration.

Those authors who need aid for the translation their works from languages different from the Spanish can ask for attendance to the Organizing Committee.

The Summary of its work is sent by means of a form Web, and must include:

• Title of the Communication
• Authors
• Center of work
• Mailing dress
• Direction of electronic mail
• Summary of the content of the work
• Key words
• Type of Work: Free communication or electronic Póster
• Authorization to include the work in the CD-ROM of the Congress

The Text of the summary does not have to exceed 500 words, must give a general idea of the totality of the work; including only the main results and conclusions; you don't need to include more than three bibliographical references. You may also include a brief description of the resources (approximated) that you believe to use in the server (Only text pages, Graphs, Presentations, Sequences of video or audio, etc.) as well as the considered space of storage that it will use.

If it observes some error in the summary that it has sent, it can correct the data of the summary at any time.

COMPLETE WORKS

1. HOW TO SEND THE WORKS

The system that we recomend is to use the Automatic System of Design of works in the Congress. This system, through a form Web, will create of automatic form the Web pages of your Póster. In order to use you will only have to cut and to paste the text and to indicate where you wish to include the images.

In the Automatic System of Design it will be able to include, in each one of the sections (Introduction, Results, etc.), up to 80 - 100 lines of text - 1,300 words - because the maximum that can store a variable is of 8,300 characters.

You may choose, in addition, other options:

1. To use a HTML pages editing program, which you will find in Internet.We recommended to him to use the templates that we provide.
2. To send the work in the format that you use in your favorite text processor (Word, Works, WordPerfect, etc.). We admitte any electronic format. The images can be included in the same text document, although we recommended to send them in separated sifles with a name that indicates the numeration in the text (examples: fig1.bmp, fig4.tif)

In any of the two previous cases, you will have to need to send the files (preferably compressed by means of PKZIP, WinZIP or ARJ) to the direction of electronic mail indicated below

Since we understand that you may not have the neccessary equipment to send us your work in an electronic format, excepcionally we will accept works in   paper DIN-A4 preferably, including the photographies, in color, that wish to include, as well as the tables and graphs that you consider necessary. The will be included  in separated pages at the end of the work. The images will go in pages or separated marks of the text, therefore, you will have to include a text that describes each image, indicating, in the microscopic images, the technique performed and enlargement.

7. DATES

Deadlie date for the reception of Summaries: 15 May, 1998.

Deadline date for the reception of Complete Works:  20 May, 1998

During the public exhibition of the works (period of open Congress), you may receive comments via electronic mail from the assistants interested. During this period the authors will be able to answer in the Public Distribution Lists of the Questions whichever questions are raised to them.
